She has been Chairman of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena from 2020 to 2023. She is President of Assonime since 2021, board member of Bocconi University and holds similar positions at Ferrari and Amplifon. She has been Vicepresident of ABI from 2022 to 2023.
From 2014 to 2020 she was Chairman of Enel and from 2011 to 2013 Chairman of Olivetti, where she worked also as CEO from 2008 to 2013. From 2006 to 2008 she was CEO of Value Team (now NTT Data) and from 2003 to 2006 CEO of Siemens Informatica.
From 2002 she served as CEO of Italtel, where she began her career in 1977. She was also a board member of Fiat Industrial, CIR, Anima Holding and Endesa S.A.
She holds a Degree in Law from the University of Milan.
He is board member of Cementir, Il Gazzettino and Terna, Senior Advisor for Italy of Credit Suisse AG and member of the International Advisory Board of Afiniti and Fremantle.
Since 2005, he is Head of External Relations, Institutional Affairs and Development of Gruppo Caltagirone, for which he is also in charge of regulatory affairs and industrial and financial holdings. From 2003 to 2005 he was Enel’s Head of Institutional Affairs and Relations with territory and Confindustria; from 2001 to 2003 he worked as Head of the Minister of Economy's Technical Secretariat. From 1998 to 2001 he worked at Infostrada up to the role of Head of Public Affairs.

He joined ANIMA in 2011 as Group CFO. From 2004 to 2011 Mr. Melzi d’Eril has been Investment Director at Clessidra SGR SpA, one of the largest Italian private equity firms.
Prior to this, he spent several years in the investment banking industry at UBM (UniCredit Banca Mobiliare) and Dresdner Kleinworth Wasserstein. Mr. Melzi d’Eril holds a Degree in Economics, with a specialization in Monetary and Financial Markets, from Bocconi University.
Previously he was Head of Distribution and Marketing at ANIMA Sgr (2017-2018), after having previously held the position of Head of Marketing at ANIMA Sgr (2012-2017) and Head of Planning and Strategic Development at Prima Sgr (2009 - 2011). Prior to that, from 2003 to 2009, he worked at McKinsey & Company, first as Business Analyst, then as Associate and eventually as Engagement Manager.
He holds a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and an MBA from the Istituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid.
With the Group since 2009, he served as Head of Planning & M&A Division (from 2018 to 2024) and previously as Head of M&A (from 2015 to 2018).
He holds a Master of Science in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Bocconi University in Milan.
From 2010 to 2018, he served as General Manager of ANIMA Asset Management Ltd (Ireland) and, from 2003 to 2010, as General Manager of Antonveneta ABN AMRO Investment Funds Ltd (Ireland). He is Chairman of the Board of the Luxembourg SICAV Anima Investment Sicav and Director of the Irish SICAV ANIMA Funds Plc.

He previously worked as Head of Risk Control at Deutsche Bank and as Junior Trader at Cassa di Risparmio di Parma e Piacenza.
Author of several publications and papers on information technology and risk management, he holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Parma.
In ANIMA Sgr he was Head of Change Management from 2020 to 2024 and Head of Organisation and Middle Office from 2011 to 2020. Previously, he was Head of Organisation at PRIMA Sgr from 2007 to 2011. From 2004 to 2006, he was Organisational Analyst at Monte Paschi Asset Management, where he also served as IT Project Manager from 2001 to 2003.
He graduated in Economic and Banking Sciences from the Università Cattolica of Milan.

From 1996 to 1997, at only 26 years of age, he managed the Cisalpina Bilanciato Fund for Banca Popolare di Brescia. From 1994 to 1996 he was Assistant to the Head of Bond Markets at Fineco SIM dealing with the issue of derivative instruments for the Group's institutional clients.

From 2003 to 2008, he held various roles at Capitalia Investimenti Alternativi SGR, including General Manager and Chief Investment Officer. From 2000 to 2003 he served as General Manager and Head of Investments in FIN.ECO INVESTIMENTI SGR. From 1993 to 2000, he was Assistant Portfolio Manager and Head of Bond Portfolio management at FINECO SIM.
He holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Brescia.
Previously, he worked at JPMorgan from 1996 to 2013, where he held various roles, up to the position of Head of Rates Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
